To demonstrate familiarity with wireless networking 
evaluation tools

Method:
-Use Netstumbler or equivalent to provide a wifi stumble 
 map of a location of the student's choice  (.ns1 file)

-If a gps is available, provide a georeferenced wifi 
 map as available through web sites

-Use Visiwave evaluation version to generate a wifi spectrum
 map of a location of the student's choice and generate pdf 
 report for submission

-Generate a map for use in the above visiwive program using
 either popular web based mapping software or open source
 floor plan generating software (autorealm)

To install a functional web server environment for development
and rapid information dissemination in emergency situations

Students are to install and configure to working state all

outlay.

- MySQL database, 
- PHP + PEAR,
- Perl,
- mod_php, mod_perl, mod_ssl for Apache,
- OpenSSL,
- phpMyAdmin database administration tool,
- Webalizer web server log analysis, 
- JpGraph graphing library, 
- Mail Server,
- FTP Server,
- WEB-DAV + mod_auth_mysql. 

Students to demonstrate such in working order on personal laptops
or over the internet if they can procure access to a routable 
IP address
